ANM is a 2 year full time course which is approved by INC ( INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL, New Delhi ) G.N.C , (Gujarat nursing coucil ,Ahmedabad) health and family welfare depatment , goverment of Gujarat (Ghandhinagar)
Definition :
A.N.M ( Auxilary Nurse Midwife) is the primary nursing education that emphasizes the rural health care servives in midwifery & community health care nursing.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed their 10+ 2 from a recognized board in the science stream with Biology as a mandatory subject. They must score minimum aggregate marks of 50%. Reserved category students are given 5% relaxation. Candidates must be between 17 to 35 years of age.
Scope:
The course offer scopes in govt & private hospital , Nursing homes, PHCand CHC .
